- Usage of ink other than Blue or Black .Applicant should use only any one of the two colours. If the applicant uses blue ink he / she should use the same blue ink in the entire answer book for all purposes including answering, drawing, underlining, highlighting etc
- நீலம் அல்லது கருமை நிற மை கொண்ட பேனா அல்லாமல், வேறு நிற பேனாக்கள் உபயோகித்தல். விண்ணப்பதாரர்கள் நீலம் அல்லது கருமை நிற மை கொண்ட பேனா மட்டுமே உபயோகப்படுத்த வேண்டும் (மையூற்று பேனா அல்லது பந்துமுனை பேனா அல்லது ஜெல் பேனா). விண்ணப்பதாரர்கள் மேற்சொன்ன இரண்டு நிற மையுடைய பேனாக்களில் ஏதாவது ஒரு நிற (நீலம் அல்லது கருமை) மை கொண்ட பேனாவை மட்டும் உபயோகப்படுத்த வேண்டும். விண்ணப்பதாரர் நீல நிற மை பேனாவை உபயோகித்தால் அவர் விடைத்தாட்கள் முழுவதும் அதாவது விடை எழுதுதல், படம் வரைதல், அடிக்கோடிடுதல், மேற்கோள்காட்டுதல் போன்றவற்றுக்கு அதே நீல நிற மை பேனாவை மட்டுமே உபயோகிக்க வேண்டும்.

விண்ணப்பதாரர்கள் தேர்வு எழுதும்போது whitener, sketch pens, பென்சில், வண்ணப் பென்சில், வண்ண மை பேனா, Crayans போன்றவைகளை உபயோகப்படுத்துதல்.
- Applicants should not write the Examination in both the languages (ie., partly in Tamil and partly in English). If the applicants answer in Tamil they should write the entire paper in Tamil only or if the applicants answer in English they should write the entire paper in English only. However, the Technical words which could not be translated can be written in the respective languages; only the Technical words and not the entire sentence / entire answers.
- விண்ணப்பதாரர்கள் ஒரு பகுதி ஆங்கிலத்திலும் மற்றொரு பகுதி தமிழிலும் விடை எழுதக் கூடாது. விண்ணப்பதாரர் தமிழில் விடை எழுதினால் அத்தேர்வில் எல்லா விடைகளையும் தமிழில் மட்டுமே எழுத வேண்டும் அல்லது ஆங்கிலத்தில் எழுதினால் எல்லா விடைகளையும் ஆங்கிலத்தில் மட்டுமே எழுத வேண்டும். இருப்பினும் மொழிபெயர்க்க இயலாத தொழில்நுட்ப வார்த்தைகள் (Technical words) அந்தந்த மொழியில் உள்ளவாறே எழுதலாம், மாறாக வாக்கியம் முழுவதும் | விடை முழுவதும் மொழிமாற்றி எழுதக்கூடாது. இவ்வறிவுரையை மீறும் விண்ணப்பதாரரின் விடைத்தாள் செல்லாததாக்கப்படும்.

- Failure to bring the Hall Ticket / நுழைவுச் சீட்டு கொண்டு செல்லத் தவறினால்
- writing Register Number incorrectly
- பதிவெண்ணைத் தவறாக எழுதினால்
- Using Bullet symbols other than the hyphen symbol (-)
- விண்ணப்பதாரர்கள் தாங்கள் எழுதும் விடைகளில் மேற்கோள் காட்ட Bullet symbol உபயோகிக்க விரும்பினால் hyphen symbol (-) ஐ மட்டுமே உபயோகிக்க வேண்டும். மாறாக hyphen symbol (-) ஐ தவிர மற்ற Bullet symbol களை உபயோகித்தால் அத்தகைய விடைத்தாளுக்கு 5 மதிப்பெண்கள் குறைக்கப்படும்

Never Ever Give up!
A shark research experiment was carried by a marine biologist. He placed a shark into a large holding tank and then released several small bait fish into the tank.As expected, the shark quickly swam around the tank, attacked and ate the smaller fish.
The biologist then inserted a strong piece of transparent glass into the tank to demarcate the tank into two path. He then put the shark on one side of the clear glass and a new set of bait fish on the other.
Again, the shark quickly attacked. But this time, however, the shark hit into the glass divider and bounced off. Undeterred, the shark kept repeating this behavior every few minutes to no avail. Meanwhile, the bait fish swam around unharmed in the second partition. Eventually, about an hour into the experiment, the shark gave up.
This experiment was repeated several dozen times over the next few weeks. Each time, the shark got less aggressive and made fewer attempts to attack the bait fish, until eventually the shark got tired of hitting the fiberglass divider and simply stopped attacking altogether.
The marine biologist then removed the glass divider, but the shark didn’t attack. The shark was trained to believe a barrier existed between it and the bait fish, so the bait fish swam wherever they wished, free from harm.
Like the shark, many of us, after experiencing setbacks and failures, emotionally give up and stop trying. we easily concluded that things are not going to work, just because we were unsuccessful in the past. In other words, we are made to believe there’s a barrier in our heads, even when no ‘real’ barrier exists between where we are and where we want to go. Never Ever Give up

எப்போதும் முயற்சியைக் கைவிடாதே!
சுறா மீன் ஒன்றை வைத்து கடல் உயிரியலாளார் ஆராய்ச்சி ஒன்றினை மேற்கொண்டார்.மிகப்பெரிய தொட்டியில் சுறாவினை விட்டார் அத்துடன் சிறிய தூண்டில் மீன்களையும் விட்டார். எதிர்பார்த்த படியே சிறிய தூண்டில் மீன்களை சுறா தொட்டி முழுவதும் நீந்தி விழுங்கியது
உயிரியலாளர் இப்போது பலமான வெளிப்படையான கண்ணாடி ஒன்றை தொட்டியின் நடுவே வைத்து இரு புறமாக பிரித்தார். அதில் ஒரு புறம் சுறாவினையும் , மற்றொரு புறம் சிறிய தூண்டில் மீனையும் நீந்த விட்டார்.
மீண்டும் சுறா தாக்கியது ஆனால் இந்த முறை இடையே கண்ணாடி கொண்டு பிரிக்கப்பட்டிருந்ததால் கண்ணாடியில் அடித்தது, தடையை விடாமல் தொடர்ச்சியாக தாக்கிக் கொண்டிருந்தது, இதே நேரத்தில் சிறிய தூண்டில் மீனாது கண்ணாடி கொண்டு பிரிக்கப்பட்டிருந்த தொட்டியின் மறு புறம் நீந்திக் கொண்டே இருந்தது, அரை மணி நேரத்தில் சுறா முயற்சியினைக் கைவிட்டது.
இச்சோதனை தொடர்ச்சியாக பல வாரங்கள் நடந்தது, ஒவ்வொரு முறையும் சுறா வலிமை குறைவாகக் கொண்டே அந்த தூண்டில் மீனை தாக்க முயற்சித்துக்கொண்டே இருந்தது, அடுத்தடுத்து இடைப்பட்ட கண்ணாடியை தாக்க முயற்சித்து கடைசியில் சோர்வடைந்து கண்ணாடித் தடையை தாக்கும் முயற்சியை நிறுத்தியது.
கடல் உயிரியலாளர் இப்போது தடைக் கண்ணாடியை நீக்கிவிட்டார் ஆனால் சுறா அந்த தூண்டில் மீனை தாக்க முயற்சிக்கவே இல்லை, சுறாவானது இப்போதும் இடையில் தடை இருப்பதாகவே கருது வந்தது, இதனால் சிறிய தூண்டில் மீன் விரும்பும் இடமெல்லாம் நீந்திக்க் கொண்டிருக்கிறது
சுறாவினைப் போலவே நாமும் பல முயற்சிகளில் தோல்வியை எதிர் கொண்டதால் உணர்வுப் பூர்வமாக முயற்சியை நிறுத்தி விடுகிறோம், நாமே எளிதாக ஒரு முடிவுக்கு வந்துவிடுகிறோம் நமது முயற்சி வேலை செய்யப்போவதில்லை , கடந்த காலத்தில் நம் முயற்சிகள் எவ்வாறு தோல்வியுற்றதோ அதே போல் இப்போதும் என நினைத்துக்கொண்டிருக்கிறோம், தடையானது நம்மிடத்திலே உள்ளது என. உண்மையான தடை நீக்கப்பட்டுவிட்ட போதும் நாம் தடை இருப்பதாகவே கருதிக் கொண்டு நாம் விரும்பும் முயற்சிகள் எடுக்காமலிருப்பது. தடைகளைத் தகர்த்து , தலையை உயர்த்து,
